Kathy Lynn Crabtree passed away on May 18, 2026 in Huntsville, AL. She was born on December 8, 1954 in Charleston, SC to her late parents Adaline G. (Wade) Walrath and Eugene P. Walrath. Kathy will be remebered for her love of Alabama football, NASCAR, westerns, and was an advid reader.
Kathy is survived by her daughters, Melissa (Bill) Bates and Amanda Porter; her step-daughter, Brandy McCowan; her sisters, Tracy (Chris) Conn, Terri (Jim) Ingrum; her grandchildren, Daniel (Erin) Campbell, Katie (Jesse) Fanning, Chrisitian (Cheyenne) Porter, Donnie Porter, Hannah Porter, and Rachel McCowan; and her 8 great-grandchildren, Ellie, Easton, Hadley, Gemma, Harper, Teddy, and arriving soon Kathryn and Sawyer. She will also be survived by many beloveded nieces and nephews.
She is preceeded in death by her son Donald "Donny" Eugene Mahler; her husband, Anthony "Tony" Crabtree; and her brothers Dennis and David Walrath.
The family will be having a celebration of life at a later date.
