Karen Suzanne SkezasMarch 16, 1951 ~ December 14, 2011Karen Suzanne Skezas of Hazel Green, Alabama and formerly of Chicago, Illinois; loving mother of Michelle Kwasniewski; beloved sister of Ruth Baker and the late Thomas Moon, Jr.; cherished daughter of the late Juanita Moon and the late Thomas Moon, Sr. Karen had a warm and generous heart, quick witt, and a smile for everyone who crossed her path. She was an avid dancer and had a zest for life which she explored whenever she could. She will leave behind many treasured nieces, nephews, family and friends. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the American Cancer Society or the COPD Foundation (

). Hazel Green Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.Visitation is Friday 5 to 6 pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. A memorial service will be conducted 6 pm Friday at Hazel Green Funeral Home with Rev. Eric Lones officiating.
