Judy (Carriger) Walker

Judy Carriger Walker, 78, of Toney, passed away on Sunday.  She was a Christian and member of Antioch Church.  Judy was a 1961 graduate of Hazel Green High School.  She loved her children, grandchildren, her farm and cattle, and was an avid University of Alabama sports fan. .

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Clay Walker, her parents, Atlas & Tellye Carriger, and her daughter-in-law, Janna Gardner Walker.

Surviving family members include her children: Keith (Mandy Butler) Walker, Saundra (Chuck) Hunter, and Kirby Walker; Her granddaughter, Sara, and her grandsons, Dalton and Bryant; Her sister, Susan Eddens;  Her brother, Jerry (Donna) Carriger; Her brother-in-law, Sammy Walker; Her sister-in-law, Bonnie Walker; Her cousin, Weldon Plant;  She is also survived by her nieces and nephews along with many friends.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 5 until 8pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. A graveside funeral service will be Thursday at 11am at Valley View Memorial Gardens in Meridianville.
