Judy Clark of Ardmore, Alabama went to be with the Lord on Friday morning while surrounded by her loving family. She was 75. Mrs. Clark had spent her career as a seamstress and then, after retiring, she worked as a child nutrition worker for Madison County Schools.
Mrs. Clark was a Christian and a part of the Church of God. She loved growing flowers and working in her garden. Her favorite thing was spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bud & Louise Mewbourne; her brothers, Larry Mewbourne and Donny Mewbourne; her sister, Carolyn Swinford; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jessie & Dorothy Clark; her special friend and sister-in-law, Joyce Clark; she was also preceded in death by several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Surviving family members include her husband of 56 years, Joe Clark; her sons and daughters-in-law, JoJo & Tammy Clark and Chris & Mandi Clark; her grandchildren: Justin (Amy) Clark, Gavin Clark, and Lily Cate Clark; her great-grandchidren: Audrey Clark and Piper Jo Clark; She is also survived by several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 11am until 1pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1pm at the funeral home with Brother Rickey Crabtree and Dr. Mike Clark officiating. Burial will follow the service and will be in Stateline Cemetery.
