Joyce Satterfield Crim passed away on October 25, 2026 in New Market, Alabama. She was born on September 17, 1940.
Joyce lived all of her life in the Walnut Grove Community. She was a lifelong member of Concord Cumberland Presbyterian Church and a well respected member of her church and community. She was a hair dresser for 60 years. Joyce was a very caring woman and family was always at the center of her servant’s heart. She was a devoted mother to Keith, a loving wife to Buddy, the best sister her six brothers could have and a loving aunt to her nieces and nephews. Just a few short years after she and Buddy married she lovingly raised Buddy’s young siblings after their parents passed.
Joyce is preceded in death by her husband, William Andrew "Buddy" Crim in 2008.
She is survived by her son, Keith Wayne Crim and his wife Caroline "Lucky" Crim; one brother, Ronnie Satterfield; her brother-in-law that she raised as her son, Harold "Hank" Crim. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law Carolyn Satterfield and Diane Satterfield Campbell.
She was a wonderful cook, seamstress, gardener and crafter. Tirelessly, she saw to her family and community. Now she is finally at rest.
