Jodie Burrough

Jodie Burrough of Hazel Green peacefully went to be with the Lord on Tuesday evening while at home surrounded by loved ones. He was 50 and was a member of Carter's Grove Baptist Church.

Jodie was well-known and well-loved by the many who knew him. He always had a smile and was known for his kindness and love for his family and friends. He worked alongside his father, Joe, serving their customers at Burrough's Plumbing.

He was preceded in death by: Kelly Martina Burrough, daughter; Hunter Shae Burrough, son; Ugh Burrough, Uncle; Louie Burrough, Uncle; Alex Burrough, Uncle; Bill Burrough, Uncle; Judy Robinson, Aunt; Betty Lanier, Aunt; James Edward Burrough, Uncle; Luther & Mary Neely, Grandparents; Joe & Delsie Burrough, Grandparents; and by Betty Jean Hughes, mother-in-law.

Surviving family members include his wife, Tina Burrough; Michael (Amanda) Burrough, Son; Kinzey (Chris Lones) Burrough, Daughter; Abby Burrough, Daughter; Brelynn "Piggy Pooh" Burrough, Granddaughter; Damion (Alishia) Lones, Grandson; Colton Lones , Great-grandson; Jim (Alana) Burrough, Brother; HIs parents, Joe & Jeannie Burrough; Nephews: Landen (Emma Bunn and Remi) Burrough, Cason Burrough, Brycin Burrough. Ayden Burrough; his nieces: Collins Burrough and Christon Cagle

Special Friends: Donna Rigsby, Doyle & Elaine Bradley, JR (Crystal Shilling) Potter, Gary Lynn; Bonus Brother: William (Nikki) Farmer. He is also survived by many other aunts, uncles, cousins, other family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 5pm until 9pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday at 2pm at the funeral home with Pastor Jim Weaver officiating. Burial will then follow in Charity Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Corey Mullins, William Farmer, Jim Burrough, Landen Burrough, Cason Burrough, Tyler Atchley, and Michael Burrough; Chris Lones and JR Potter will be honorary pallbearers.
