Jessie Mae Whitt

Jessie Mae Payne Whitt was born to Annie Belle Elders and Jessie Willard Payne in Huntsville, Alabama on November 1, 1942. She resided in Hazel Green and later in Toney Alabama.
Jessie died on August 28, 2016 at the age of 74 and was preceded in death by her parents, her son Richard David Whitt, and her brothers Billy Ray Payne and Robert Edward Payne.
Left to cherish her memories are; her sons Johnny, Thomas, Donald Whitt and Donald’s wife, Marie. Jessie’s grandsons Donald Ray Whitt Jr. and James Holloway and Raymond Keith Holloway Jr.
Jessie is also survived by her sisters Geraldine Alexander, Shirley Taylor, Wanda Thompson and multiple nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12pm until 2pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2pm at the funeral home with Dr. Mike Clark officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery.
