Jeremy Scott Lumpkin

Jeremy Scott Lumpkin, 39, of Meridianville, passed away on Saturday. He enjoyed his work as a heavy equipment operator.
Jeremy deeply loved the people in his life and cared deeply about them, especially his daughter, "Lita." He wanted to be the kind of man that his sons could look up to.
He was preceded in death by his brother, David Lumpkin.
Surviving family members include his children, Angelita Lumpkin, Zander Watson, Jessie Roy; his wife, Destiny Lumpkin; his mom, Patricia Allen (Dewey); his dad, James Lumpkin (Carla); his brothers, Chris Lumpkin and Michael Lumpkin; his sister, Krista Lumpkin.
There will be a celebration of life service on Thursday at 5pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. The family will receive friends an hour before the service.
