Jeremy Michael "Buss" Cantrell of Fayetteville, a Madison County native, passed away on Friday evening. He was 50 and was a Christian man who had placed his faith in Jesus Christ.
Buss will be remembered for his optimism, always being a positive person and an encourager. He enjoyed riding his Harley, was a good mechanic, and was a passionate Auburn University Football fan.
He was a kind person who knew how to treat others. He worked at Billy's Bar in Hazel Green where he was a jack of all trades and was able to do anything that needed to be done. He treated the business like it was his own. He loved his family and friends dearly and always wanted to help others who needed him
He was preceded in death by his father, Dallas Green; by mother, Lynn Cantrell; his brother, Andy Green. his grandparents, Jerry & Virginia Cantrell.
Surviving family members include his wife, Casey Cantrell; his daughter, Kacye Morales (Jose); his daughter, Ceiera Cantrell (Gilberto); his son, Steven Measles (Amber); his daughter, Chloe Cantrell; his daughter, Jayden Cantrell; his son, Brady Cooper; his daughter, Delaney Cooper; his eight grandchilldren: Ortiz, Ethan, Dayln, Analee, Hayzen, Delani, Romeo, and Colten; his two sisters, Stacey James and Rebecca Mujwala; He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and by many friends, including his special friends, Billy & Windy Butler.
The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6pm until 8pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life service will be Saturday at 12pm at the funeral home with burial following Concord Cemetery.
