Jeffery Robert Cole

Jeffery Robert Cole, age 53, of Owens Cross Roads, AL passed away peacefully Monday, December 28 at Crestwood Medical Center in Huntsville, AL.  He was a native of Madison County, Alabama.  He graduated from Hazel Green High School in 1986.

Jeff had a love for life, his family and his friends that will be missed forevermore.  He was one half of the BBQ competition cooking team “Bees Knees” with his best friend Brent Borland and also a cast member on the TV cooking show BAMA-Q.  He had a contagious laugh, smile and sense of humor that drew people in.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Warren Cole.

He is survived by his loving daughter, Ella Crosslyn Cole, of whom he was so very proud, his mother, Vera Faye Ashby Cole, his sister Yvonne (Joey) Brennan, his nieces Katie (Braden) Hatfield and Jenny (Jake) Shubert, two great-nieces and one great-nephew, and a host of loving friends.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic there will be no inside visitation but a celebration of life and a graveside service held at Concord Cemetery in New Market, AL on Thursday December 31 at 11.
