Jeanne Irene Preslar

Jeanne Irene Preslar, 79, of Fayetteville, Tennessee, formerly of Bremerton, Washington, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, May 19, 2026. Born on June 3, 1946, in New York City, New York, Jeanne lived a life centered on faith, family, love, and service to others.

A part of Harmony Hill Church of God in Fayetteville, Jeanne loved the Lord deeply and faithfully trusted Him in every circumstance. She often reminded those she loved to “let God figure it out” and to remain faithful servants in all things. Her unwavering faith and gentle spirit were an inspiration to everyone who knew her.

Jeanne had a special love for art and teaching, sharing her creativity, wisdom, and encouragement with others throughout her life. She was a loving mother who made countless sacrifices for her children each and every day. Her family was always her greatest priority.

Nothing brought Jeanne greater joy than her grandchildren, who were truly the twinkle in her eyes. She loved them deeply and cherished every moment spent with them. Her kindness, prayers, strength, and unconditional love will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Acasia McSperitt; her son, Shilo Preslar; her son at heart, Danny Gerdes; and her ten beloved grandchildren.

In accordance with her wishes, the family has planned a special Celebration of Life service with burial to follow at The Good Earth Cemetery in Hazel Green, Alabama.

Jeanne will truly be missed by many, but her legacy of faith, love, and devotion will continue to live on through all who were blessed to know her.
