Jarrad Michael Harris

Jarrad Michael Harris, age 46 of Huntsville, passed away Monday, November 20, 2017.

He was a veteran of the United States Air Force where he had served for 16 years and was in Operation Desert Storm.  When he returned to the States, he was stationed at Little Rock Air Force Base and then at Warner Robbins Air Force base. He enjoyed playing fast-pitch softball on the Air Force softball team, and as a NASCAR fan, he served in the honor guard at races.  He had a beautiful voice and one of his favorite hobbies was karaoke.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Lee Harris of Huntsville;  His grandmother, Nina Harris;  His grandmother, Alberta O’Leary;  Surviving family members include his mother, Vickie Richardson; His brother, Lawrence Traglia Jr; His son, Will Harris and his wife, Amanda;  His daughter, Sydney Harris; His grandchildren: Ezekiel and Soren; His grandfather, Ronald Richardson; His grandmother, Vic Richardson; His grandfather, Edward O’Leary;  His uncle, Bill Posey; His aunt, Janice Sanders; His uncle, Arthur Harris;  He is also survived by several cousins and special friends.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 until 3pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 3pm at the funeral home with Pastor Steve Sharp and Rev. Kenneth Mitchell officiating.

A committal service with military honors will be Monday, December 4, 2017, at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
