Mrs. Jan Lynn Weissgerber, 77, of Madison, Alabama, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on May 27, 1948, in Baltimore, Maryland, Jan was a devoted wife, mother, Nana, and Great-Nana whose life was filled with creativity, kindness, and love.
Jan had a lifelong passion for music—especially the timeless songs of Elvis Presley. She also expressed her artistic spirit through painting and cross-stitching and cherished every opportunity to travel and experience new places. Above all, Jan will be remembered for her boundless love for her family, which remained the center of her world.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Patricia Hobbs and Theresa Pigott.
Jan is survived by her beloved husband of more than sixty years, Mark Weissgerber; her sons Mark, John, and Trenson Weissgerber; her grandchildren Ariel, John IV, Emilie, Mark III, and Jacob; and her great-grandchildren Parker, Jackson, Luke, and Juliette.
The family will honor her memory with a private Celebration of Life at a later date.
