James Donny Young, 76 , of Toney , Alabama passed away May 26, 2025. He was born on July 12, 1948 in Decatur, Alabama to the late James and Leola (Eckstein) Young.
James is survived by his wife of 57 years Paulette Young, son Rusty (Mary Ann) Young, grandchildren Madison Young (Danny) Stutts, Blake Young, Brant Young, Lacey Young; great grandchildren Reid Stutts, Sunny Stutts; sister Ruth Shaw; nieces Kristi (Robert) Valls, June Holt along with additional friends and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents James and Leola Young, his son James Donny Young Jr, grandson Jordan Young and sister Lela Adcock.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 1, 2025 from 1:00 - 2:00 PM at Wooley Springs Baptist Church. A Memorial Service will immediately begin at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Wooley Springs Baptist Church.
