James "Jim" E. Worrall, 71, of Hazel Green, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2018.

He served in the United States Marines and then retired from Redstone Arsenal where he served as a K9 police officer.   He was a life member of the VFW Post 684 in Memphis, Tennessee and was a member of the American Legion and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles.

He was preceded in death by his parents, WIlfred  & Martha Maser Worrall of McKeesport, Pennsylvania,  his step-daughter, Nina Calhoun Ryder, and his great-grandson, Liam Royal.

Surviving family members include his wife of 25 years, Nancy R. Worrall;  His daughters: Dena (Rick) Ciccarelli and Jayme (Bill) King;   His brothers: Wilfred (Pattie) Worrall, Rick (Kathy) Worrall;  His grandchildren: Brando, Rico,  Keira, Rachel, Lauren, Gary, and Megan. His great-grandchildren: Cooper, Tucker, and Noah.  He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family is planning an upcoming Celebration of Life.
