James David Benson
April 25, 1939 — August 21, 2019
James David Benson, 80, of Huntsville, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday.
He was a 1957 graduate of Hazel Green High School and worked in management with Circle C Stores for 35 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Iris Chandler Benson; His parents, Sam & Wilma Benson.
Surviving family members include his two sons and daughters-in-law, Sammy & Leigh Ann Benson and David Benson Edwards and his wife Vicki Edwards; His grandchildren: Lauralee Benson, Brantley Benson, and McKenzie Edwards. His brothers, Johnny Benson and Bobby Benson; His sister, Rita League.
Funeral services will be on Friday at 1pm at Murphy Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Mike McFarlen officiating. Burial will follow in Murphy Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church beginning at Noon.
