She was a 1950 graduate of New Market High School and married Gordon P. Hudson soon thereafter in July 1950. She was a dedicated housewife who managed a household, raised three sons, and enjoyed handcrafts of quilting, knitting, crotchet, cross-stitch and coloring with pencils in later years. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her siblings of A.M. “Maurice” Davis and Dorothy “Dot” Griggs, her husband of 72+ years Gordon P. Hudson, and her eldest son of Michael D. Hudson.
She is survived by her sons Mark D. Hudson (Janet) of Hazel Green, AL and Tracy D. Hudson (Victoria Clendenon) of Ryland, AL, and daughter-in-law Jeannie Davis Hudson of Fayetteville, TN. Imogene bravely fought declining health and memory loss in her last years. We rejoice that her earthly struggles are over, and she is safely home with her Heavenly Father. A special thanks to Compassus Hospice and her personal caregivers Myrtle and Cadian over the past 8 months.
