Howard Darby Barnes, 70, Passed away at his home Monday, April 14th after a long battle with cancer.
He was a life ling resident of Ardmore, a mechanic for more than 55 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bee and Annette Barnes; 3 brothers, Richard (Petie), JW, and Wayne Barnes; 1 sister, Martha Autrey; 1 grandson, Brian; and 1 granddaughter, Christa.
He is survived by his wife Joy; 1 son, Keith (Daphne) Barnes; 1 Daughter, Michelle (Chris) Brady; 4 stepsons, Sean, Ian, Eric, and Andy Barron; 5 sisters, Jean Chandler, Anne Cross, Susie Moore, Connie Royster, and Linda Blankenship. He had numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, April 19th at Ardmore Assembly of God Church. Visitation will be held from 12-2pm with Funeral to follow.
