Helen (Sammons) Gipson

Graveside services for Helen Sammons Gipson age 95 of Huntsville will be conducted Thursday at 11AM at Huntsville Memory gardens with Cody Gilliam officiating. Mrs. Gipson passed away Sunday at her residence. She was born November 1, 1923, daughter of the late Carroll Sammons and Sue Sammons and lived in Madison County her entire life. She worked and retired from Redstone Arsenal and in addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Elizabeth Smith and Alieen Sammons and one brother, James Sammons.

She is survived by two daughters, Marie Bennett and Carolyn Roland, her grandsons, Jimmy Bennett, Jonathan Roland and Jeremy Roland and one great grandson, James Bennett.

There will be no visitation prior to the service and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ARK 139 Bo Cole Rd.  Huntsville, Alabama 35806
