Harold Dean Boggs, born March 4, 1934, went to be with the Lord on July 27, 2025. Harold pastored Taft Full Gospel Church for many years. He was known to many as Papa. His love for his family and extended family was unconditional, and his devotion to the Lord was evident in his daily interactions. He always had a smile on his face and rarely met a stranger.

Over the years, he made a profound impact on many lives through his spreading of the gospel. Aviation was a true passion of his. He retired from PPG, making many friends along the way.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents, W.K. Boggs and Sadie Elizabeth (Simmons) Boggs; daughter, Cynthia Boggs Gibbs; and his beloved grandson, Dylan Gibbs. He was the eldest of 11 children, all of whom preceded him in passing: Nelson, Lindsey, Dickey, Denny, Wanda Sue, Faye, Shirley, Sheila, Phillip, and Jackie.

Harold is survived by his loving wife of 66 wonderful years, Edith Alverine (Durham) Boggs; son, David Harold Boggs; granddaughter, Cayleigh Boggs; sisters-in-law, Patsy Boggs, Sandra Boggs, and Marie Lee; brother-in-law, Virgil Saint; and a host of nieces and nephews whom he cherished dearly.
