Gertrude Faye Owens

Gertrude Owens died Sunday, September 29, 2019 at Huntsville Hospital.

Funeral services will be held Thursday beginning at 11 AM at Hazel Green Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mike Weldon officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-8 PM at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Prospect Cemetery in Lincoln County.

She is preceded in death by: Larry Owens Sr. (Husband), John Owens Jr. (Son), Octavia Owens (Mother), Jordan Vann (Father), and 3 brothers, Mark, Sonny and Jerry Vann.

She is survived by: 3 sons Tommy (Lisa), Steve (Jen) and Scott (Donna), Rose (John), and 2 Sisters Judy Pierce and Joyce Stapler.  11 grandchildren Kelly (Johnathon) Wallace, Tim (Mary) Owens, Tommy and Larry Owens, Amber and Ashley (Riley) Owens, Jacob Owens and Promise Young.  5 great grandchildren Alyssa, Briley, Destinee, Adriana, and Caroline as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Pallbearers are Dennis Burgess, Tommy Owens Jr., Riley Skinner, Billy Walther, Johnathon Wallace and Jacob Owens.
