Gary "Guru" Kimbrough

Charles Gary "Guru" Kimbrough, 60, of Hazel Green, Alabama, passed away on Friday.

He was born on Jan 19,1959 to Clyde and Rena Mae. He loved to go hunting and spending time at Dog Days with his brother. He was a huge Alabama fan and loved watching all the games. His most cherished time was spending time with his 2 grandbabies.

He is survived by, his parents Clyde and Rena Mae Kimbrough; his brothers Lary Kimbrough and his wife, Dorothy and Steven Kimbrough; his significant other, Teena Kimbrough; his daughter Samantha Layne and her husband, Jason; His grandchildren Kaylee Piche and Bryleigh Layne.  He had 4 nephews, 3 great-nephews, and 1 great-niece. He is preceded by death his brother Dwayne Kimbrough.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 5 until 8pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11AM at the funeral home with Jerry "Bull" Whitt officiating.  Burial will follow and will be in New Sharon Cemetery.
