Evylea Johnson

Evylea Johnson of New Market passed away on Wednesday evening at her home. She was 79. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Evylea loved the people around her and treated everyone as her own family

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Johnson; by her son, Stanley Johnson; by her son-in-law, Billy Aldridge; by her brothers, Buddy Sharp, Tommy Sharp, and Gene Sharp; her sister, Dorothy Sharp Smith.

Surviving family members include her daughter, Donna Johnson; her grandchildren: Anna (Austin) Watson, Jessica Johnson, Rebecca Johnson, and Matthew Johnson; her great-grandchildren: Bryson Locker, Grayson Locker, Carson Watson, and Brooklynn Watson; her two bonus sons, Kenneth Quinlan and Chucky (Tina) Robinson, and a bonus daughter, Becky Stallions and her three sons, Cody Stallions, Christopher Stallions, and Jacob Haggermaker. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 5pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home with Brother Billy Loveday officiating.   The family will receive friends at 3pm.   The family will have a private burial later in Concord Cemetery.
