Ernest Lee Cardwell Sr.

Funeral services for Ernest Lee Cardwell Sr. age 65 of Hazel Green will be conducted Friday 12 Noon at Hazel Green Funeral Home with Bro. Eddy Childress officiating. Mr. Cardwell passed away Monday at his residence surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Estile Cardwell Sr. and Zena Cardwell, two brothers, Joe Cardwell and Randy Cardwell and one sister, Mary Sutton and one great grandson. He was a native of Evansville, Indiana and worked for Childress Heating and Air for over fifteen years, he was an EMT, firefighter and first responder in Kentucky for five years before moving to Alabama.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Cardwell, two sons, Ernest Cardwell Jr. (Alison) and William Powell (Jan), two daughters, Jennifer Pyron ((Keith) and Angelica Doser, one brother, James Cardwell Jr. (Sarah), two sisters, Shelia Haire and Virginia Morales (Alex), nine grandchildren and one great granddaughter and a host of loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday evening 5-8 PM at Hazel Green Funeral Home
