Ellen was a graduate of high school and pursued a technical degree to become a Dental Assistant. Her professional life was diverse and fulfilling, as she worked diligently as an Oral Surgeon Assistant, a picture framer, and a daycare teacher. Her hobbies reflected her nurturing spirit and keen eye for beauty. Ellen found immense joy in taking care of her family, cooking, canning, sewing quilts, and piecing together jigsaw puzzles. Her love for photography and bird watching was a testament to her appreciation of life's simple pleasures and the natural world around her.

Ellen's heart was as vast as the sky, filled with golden warmth that she shared with all who crossed her path. She was known for her ever-present smile and kind words, embodying grace and compassion in every interaction.

A service to celebrate Ellen's remarkable life will be held on July 31, 2026, at 5:30 PM at the New Market Methodist Church. In her memory, the family kindly suggests that donations be made to a charity of one's choice, honoring Ellen’s generous spirit.
