Edward Sanderson

Mr. Edward "Eddie" Sanderson of Meridianville passed away on Wednesday afternoon while at his home. He was 74. He was born and raised in Mobile, Alabama and graduated from Vigor High School before serving in the United States Marine Corp. He spent more than 30 years on Mobile Bay where he was a tug boat captain, a career that he very much enjoyed.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Raymond & Gladys Sanderson and his sister, Gesile Waltman.

Surviving family members include his beloved wife of 40 years, Diane Sanderson; his daughter, Paris Sanderson; his step-daughter, Karen Allen; his step-son, Larry Browning Jr; He is also survived by his closest friends, Jack Carney and James Bullock

At Mr. Sanderson's request, the family will have their own private celebration of his life.

Eddie will be remembered for his humor, his love for reading, golf, movies, playing pool, and for his love for his family and friends.
