Edward Allen Hopkins Jr.October 23, 1927 ~ March 27, 2009Mr. Edward Allen Hopkins Jr., 81, of Hazel Green, died Friday at his residence. He was a farmer and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Hopkins was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Hopkins and by his parents, Edward and Ada Greenway Hopkins; He is survived by his children: Debbie Hopkins-Casteel and Donny Hopkins and his wife Denise; His Sisters: Patricia Nickelson and Rachel Carden; His Brother: Jerry Hopkins. His Granchildren: Kristi and Kenny Ray Ussery, and Kelly and James Roden; Two Great-Grandchildren: Amber and Ashley Ussery; and several nieces and nephews.Visitation with the family will be Sunday from 5 until 8PM at the Hazel Green Funeral Home; Funeral services will be Monday at 2pm in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Charles Marble, Chaplain Bert Wiggers, and Rev. Harold Boggs officiating. Burial will follow in Charity Cemetery. Visit
