Edward A. Drenning

Mr. Edward A. Drenning, 73, of Hazel Green, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday. He had retired from the Department of Defense after 20 years of civil service.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy & Bertha Drenning; His brothers: Roy Drenning and Richard Drenning; His father-in-law and mother-in-law, John Kobasa and Anna Kobasa;  His sisters-in-law, Natalie Renshaw and Peggy Drenning.

Surviving family members include his loving wife of 48 years, Claudia Drenning;  His son, Edward K. Drenning;  His daughter, Andrea Drenning Schacht;  His grandchildren, Brennan Schacht and Rebecca Drenning; His siblings:  William Drenning, Gertrude Cormas, Jack Drenning, and Linda Drenning; His brothers-in-law:  Daniel Kobasa, John Kobasa, and Gregory Kobasa.

The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 5 until 7pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be Saturday at 2pm at the funeral home with Pastor Charles Maples officiating.  Burial will follow in Charity Cemetery.
