Doyle Louie Andrews Sr.

Mr. Doyle Louie Andrews of Hazel Green, Alabama, went to be with the Lord on Friday. He was 82.

Born in Red Hill, Alabama, to the late Jack and Nellie Andrews, he was a true family man. Doyle was a Mason and served for 28 years as a firefighter. He loved to listen to and play country and gospel music, especially Alan Jackson. Collecting antique cars was one of his favorite hobbies. While Mr. Andrews at times had a rough exterior, he will be remembered for his heart of gold.

In addition to his parents, Jack and Nellie Andrews, Mr. Andrews was preceded in death by his siblings, Eugene, Bill, Leon, Donald, Maggie, Delores, Mary Lou, and Edward.

He is survived by his children, Doyle Jr. and Jason Andrews; his brother, Kenneth Andrews; and many grandchildren, other family members, and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 20, from 11AM until 12PM at Hazel Green Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 12. Entombment will follow in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
