Dorothy Jeanette (Thompson) Knighten

Funeral services for Dorothy Jeanette Knighten age 76 of Decatur, Alabama will be conducted Thursday 1PM at Hazel Green Funeral Home with Pastor Simon Davenport officiating and burial will follow in the Taylor Cemetery. Mrs. Knighten passed away Sunday at her residence. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bertha Scott and Joe Thompson and one brother, Bill Thompson.

Survivors include her children, Gregory and Lynne Knighten, Stacy Knighten and Jason and Nancy Knighten, her grandchildren, Ashley Kendrick, Kristen Hopper, Katelyn Garrett, Kolter Winton, Casey Knighten, Addie Knighten, Emily Knighten, Jaylen Knighten, Mason Knighten, Holly Wilder and Tad Johnson, eleven great grandchildren, two sisters, Sylvia Strayer and Martha McElroy, two brothers, Steve and Linda Thompson and Roy and Barbara Thompson, several nieces and nephews and a host of loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday 11-1 PM at Hazel Green Funeral Home
