Donnie Ray Jones, 65, of Hazel Green passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2020. He was an avid Alabama football and NASCAR fan. He was a carpenter by trade and enjoyed woodworking and making Alabama footballs.
He was preceded in death by his father Billy Joe Jones, mother Clida Cothren Jones, and brother Billy Wayne Jones.
He is survived by his wife Candy Damron Jones, brother Randy (Amanda) Jones, sister Karen (Dallas) Trammell, step-sons Neal Sharp and Adam Zwilling, several nieces and nephews, father-in-law Rayburn Damron, and many close friends.
Visitation will be 11:00 to 1:00 Tuesday, December 22 2020, at Hazel Green Funeral Home Chapel, with funeral immediately following at 1:00.
