Wally Don Williams of Fayetteville, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday. He was 77 and had retired from Walmart in Fayetteville after many years.
He was a people person with a kind heart and will be remembered as a gentle soul. He was a Christian who cherished his church family at Grace Falls Church. He also deeply loved his family and enjoyed every opportunity to spend time with them.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Williams; his parents, Dallas and Dorothy Williams; two sisters, Willa Doynea Williams and Wanda Diane Moon; and his brother-in-law, John Smiley.
Surviving family members include his brothers, Daryl (Diane) Williams and David (Pam) Williams. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, by his sisters-in-law, Linda Smiley, Marie Dye, Rita (Jack) Clardy, and Evelyn Smith, and by his brother-in-law, Noel Angers.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Ryan Tate officiating. Burial will follow the service and will be in Kirkland Cemetery.
