Dennis Mcelyea

Funeral services for Mr. Dennis McElyea age 74 of New Market will be conducted Thursday morning at 11AM at Hazel Green First Baptist Church with Rev. Lon Ostrzycki and Rev. Billy McElyea officiating and burial following at Concord Cemetery. Mr. McElyea passed away Monday at his residence.  He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and served in Vietnam.

Survivors include his wife, Linda McElyea, his children, Nicole and Mark Hicks and Brian and Somer McElyea, his grandchildren, Brandon and Chelsea Hicks, Dustin Hicks, Savannah McElyea and Sydney McElyea, two sisters, Rosemary Miller and Sharron Collier and a host of other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday evening 5-8 PM at Hazel Green Funeral Home and the body will lie in state 1 hour prior to services at the church.
