Debra Baswell Manley

Debra Baswell Manley, 68, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2026.

Debra was born on July 9, 1957, in Huntsville, Alabama, to Jake Miller and Hattie Stewart Miller Davenport. She was a graduate of Butler High School and was of the Baptist faith. Debra was a devoted mother and grandmother whose family meant everything to her. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and attending their baseball and softball games. She also enjoyed riding motorcycles with her late husband and cherished the memories they made together.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Martin Manley; and her brothers, Buck Miller and Toby Miller.

Mrs. Manley is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Jennifer and Chad Sharp, and Suzy Baswell; her beloved grandchildren, Avery Sharp, Crew Sharp, and Millie Sharp; her dear first cousin, Paula Jean Roberts; and the father of her children, Ronnie Baswell and wife, Cathy.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Hazel Green Funeral Home.

A graveside committal service will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Ford's Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Crew Sharp, Sam Hale. Parker Medley, and Blake Saltzman.
