David Ray Norris

Mr. David Ray Norris of New Market, Alabama passed away on Sunday. He was 68. He was born and raised in the Kelso community in Lincoln County, Tennessee. Mr. Norris loved farming and had worked for Ogle Farms for many years. He enjoyed watching NASCAR races and was an Alabama football fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Murphy & Lydia Norris; his brother, Joe Lee Norris; his sister, Brenda Gail Roland; his father-in-law, Aubrey Eugene Vann.

Surviving family members include his loving wife, Della Norris; his son, Kevin Norris; his son, Daniel Norris; his son, Ben Norris; his brothers, Phillip Wayne Norris and Tommy Richard Norris; his sisters, Carolyn O'Neal, Margie Burks, and Emma Norris; his brothers-in-law, Drexel Vann and Larry Vann. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 12:30pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home with Brother Dub McCain officiating. Burial will follow and will be in Miller Cemetery in New Market. The family will begin receiving friends at 11:30am at the funeral home.
