David Anderson Erwin

David Anderson Erwin, 85, of New Market, Alabama passed away May 14, 2026 in Huntsville, Alabama. He was born on March 21, 1941 in New Market, Alabama. He loved to fish, being out in the garden, and working on cars. He was a jack of all trades and had jobs as a farmer, bus driver, and mechanic. He was a wonderful father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He will be missed by all his family who thought very highly of him.

David is survived by his siblings, Freda, Allie Jo, and Glen; his children, Suzanna, Joe, Kathy, Donna, and Marsha; his grandkids, Bonny, Megan, Amanda, and Katelyn; and his great-grandkids.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Ruth Erwin; his wife, Jean; and his son, James.

Visitation will be held from 12pm to 1pm on Monday, May 18, 2026 at Hazel Green Funeral Home. He will be buried at Locust Grove Cemetery in New Market, Alabama.
