David Lee Blotter Sr.
October 25, 1952 — June 19, 2025
David Lee Blotter, 72, of Athens, Alabama, passed away on June 19, 2025. He was born on October 25, 1952, in Medicine Hill, North Dakota, to the late Emanuel and Myrtle (Sondrol) Blotter.
David was a gifted master crafter and took great pride in working with his hands.
David is survived by his children: Cindy (Jerry) Mitchell, Rebeca Grey, and David Lee Blotter Jr. (Sherry); thirteen grandchildren; his brothers, Jim Blotter and Steve (Nellie) Blotter; as well as many extended family members and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Glenn Blotter, and his sister, Bonnie Houston.
At this time, no services are planned. The family will share details of any arrangements at a later date.
