Danny Michael Gulledge

Danny Michael Gulledge, 76, of New Market, Alabama passed away December 16, 2025. He was born on April 5, 1949 in St. Louis , Illinois to the late James Donald Gulledge and Geri (Dement) Myers.

He was born and raised in Cahokia, Illinois, where he attended school. After graduating high school, he entered the military, serving a total of 34 years between active duty in the U.S. Army and continued service in the Army Reserves.

He loved sharing his favorite selections of music and movies. He also had the ability to make about anyone laugh. He was a jokester and brought humor into most situations and gatherings. He was also a fan of wrestling. Danny had a kind spirit and kept focused on having a positive outlook on life. He was well known for having a big heart.

Danny is survived by his wife Bridget Gulledge; his children, Robert E. (Catherine) Moore, Danielle Gulledge, Peter (Amanda) Moore, Jonathan Moore, Taylor Moore, Madison Moore; mother Geri (Dement) Myers; grandchildren: Peter Moore, Jayden Johnson, Georgia Kelley, Savannah Kelley, Caleb Moore, Annabelle Moore; sister Linda (Wayne) Ploesser along with numerous extended family and many friends.

In addition to his father, James Donald Gulledge, he was preceded in death by his sister Janet Brown as well as his nephew Jeffrey Brown.
