Dakota Honea

Dakota Honea, 32, of Ardmore, Tennessee passed away on Saturday.

He attended Blanche School and Lincoln County High School and enjoyed growing up in the country, fishing, and being in the outdoors.  He also loved karaoke and dearly loved his daughters.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents:  Gene & Carol Ables, Carlton Honea, and Ann Honea.

Surviving family members include his parents, Anthony & Amy Honea; His sister, Alyssa Honea;  His wife, Erica Honea; His daughters, Audrey Honea (and her mother, April Spivey) and Amelia Honea; He is also survived by his uncles: Shelby (Christy) Ables, Matt Ables, Tim (Shannon) Honea;  his aunts, Christina (Tommy) Miller, Carla (Dennis) Elmore;  He is also survived by several cousins and many friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:30am until 2:30pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow at 2:30pm with Bro. Shelby Ables officiating.  Burial will then be in Gatlin Cemetery in Ardmore, Alabama.
