Mr. Curtis Holman went peacefully to be with the Lord on Friday evening. He was 74. Mr. Holman had retired from Teledyne Brown Engineering where he worked as a sheet metal fabricator and planner. He was a faithful Christian and member of the Plevna Free Holiness Church for his entire life.
He believed in hard work and gave his all to provide for his family. He dearly loved all his family and especially cherished spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He loved his church family and wanted to be in the Lord's house whenever he could. He will be remembered for his faithfulness and for his love for singing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Remona Holman; by his brother, Jerry Holman; his father-in-law, Richard Mason; his brother-in-law, Kenny Teet. his grandparents, Frank & Bertha Holman, John Maynor and Alice Gipson.
Surviving family members include his wife of almost 56 years who he lovingly called "Rit", Richlyn Mason Holman; his daughter and son-in-law, Tammy & Jason Campbell; his son, Charles Holman; his son and daugher-in-law, Chad & Amanda Holman; his grandchildren: Maegan Lowery, Kellie & Tyler Heard, Peyton & Magen Campbell, Irelyn Holman, Hayden Holman; his seven great-grandchildren; his brothers and sisters-in-law: Ricky & Terrie Holman, Lisa & Kenneth Walters, and Terry & Carol Holman. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends, church family and his beloved mother-in-law, Beulah Mae "Doman" Mason.
The family will receive friends on Monday evening, June 29, 2026 from 5pm until 8pm at Plevna Holiness Church. Funeral services will be Tuesday. June 30, 2026 at 2pm at the church with Brother Mitchell Holman, Brother Jeremy Reid, and Brother Robby Schrimsher officiating. Burial will then follow in Taylor Cemetery. The family will be at the church beginning at Noon on Tuesday to receive friends.
