Coraline Smith Hodges

Coraline Smith Hodges, age 90, of Toney, Alabama, passed away on January 21, 2026.

She was born on November 20, 1935, in Guntersville, Alabama, to the late Charles and Ida (Harriad) Dake.

Coraline is survived by her children, Junior Pugh, Ruby Bridgeman, Billy Pugh, Ida Marbrey, and Jerry Pugh; her sister, Marie Riddle; numerous grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and extended family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Smith; and her sons, William Joe “Jody” Pugh and Joseph Pugh.

The family will receive friends at Hazel Green Funeral Home on January 22, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on January 23, 2026, at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Huntsville Memory Gardens.
