Charles Daniel "Petey" Mann Jr.

 Charles Daniel “Petey” Mann Jr., 54, of New Market, Alabama, passed away on November 19, 2025, at Crestwood Medical Center in Huntsville. He was born on November 5, 1971, in Arkansas, to Charles Mann and the late Lessie Mann.

Petey was born and raised in Bradley County, Arkansas. He was a hardworking and dependable man who took pride in his work. He was a Christian who attended church regularly and enjoyed spending time with his large family. He loved relaxing with his wife, watching their favorite shows, and treasured time with his many loved ones. He overcame many challenges in life and was proud to be a great-papa. Recently, he discovered a new hobby—magnet fishing—which he looked forward to learning more about.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Sue Bates-Mann; father, Charles Mann; sister, Tina Mann; children Christopher Mann, Ashley Mann (James Kumber), Tori (Aaron Clem) Bates, Tisha (Ian) Thayer, Cody Mann (Ashley Smith), Austin (Breanna) Bates, and Nathan Timms; grandchildren Carson, Caleigh, Carter, Avery, Renley, Shiloh, Mikah, Emmitt, Marley-Rose, Beau, Odin, and Aniya. He is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.

Petey was preceded in death by his mother, Lessie Mann.

The family will receive friends at Hazel Green Funeral Home on November 23, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A Memorial Service will begin at 4:00 in the chapel of Hazel Green Funeral Home.
