Charles Clayton Johnson

Funeral services for Charles Clayton Johnson age 89 of New Market will be conducted Saturday 2PM from the Hazel green Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Johnson passed away Monday afternoon at his residence. Survivors include his wife, Luzene Johnson, two sons, Donald Joe Johnson and James Bolton, one daughter, Deborah and Ervin Cody, his grandchildren, James Cody, Randy Cody, Kelly Cody, and Jessica Bolton, his great-grandchildren, Cheyenne Turner, Jacob Campbell, Charity Bolton, C.J. Bolton, Ruthie Bolton, Emma Campbell, one great-great-grandchild, Wyatt Turner, one sister, Edith Landman, one brother, Wayne Johnson, ten nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Amy Hopkins Johnson, his father, Sam Johnson Sr., his mother, Maggie P. Bounds Johnson and his brothers and sisters, O.J. Johnson, Sam Johnson Jr., Lloyd Johnson, Evelyn Cantrell, Mattie P. Moore and Velma Edwards.
