Carolyn (Walker) Calvert

Lilly Carolyn Walker Calvert, 79, of Huntsville, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday.

She loved the Lord and was a loving and compassionate wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lagette & Clara Belle Walker, by her sisters, Joyce and Charlotte, and by her brothers, Wallace and Bobby.

Surviving family members include her husband, John Alton Calvert; Her son, Alan (Traci) Calvert;  Her daughter, Lisa (Anthony) Green; Her brother, Kenny (Judy), and her sister, Dian (Pete); Her grandchildren: Hannah, Alyssa, Katherine (Chass), Trent, and Ben.

The family will receive friends on Saturday beginning at 10am at Mt. Zion Baptist Church.  Funeral services will follow at noon with Rev. Bobby Eads officiating.  Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
