Mrs. Carmen Laura Seaman of Madison, Alabama, passed away Monday. She was 76.

Carmen was born in Las Piedras, Puerto Rico, to the late Juan and Marcolina Rodriguez. She loved to travel the world with her husband. She worked in the medical field for 20 years. Mrs. Seaman will be remembered for her sense of humor, short temper, and love for her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, John Rodriguez, Ana Pederson, and Jose Rodriguez.

Surviving family includes her husband of 54 years, John Seaman; her children, John Robert Seaman and Kimberly Seaman-Mastramico (Nicholas); and her grandson, Thomas Mastramico. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 30, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Hazel Green Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Huntsville Memory Gardens.
