Candy Damron Jones

Candy Damron Jones, 66, of Hazel Green passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2025. She passed away surrounded by love ones and leaves behind a legacy defined by strength, sass, and deep devotion to her family and those in need. Candy was famously stubborn, proudly strong-willed, and never afraid to speak her mind. Her sassy spirit was part of her charm and something her loved ones wouldn’t have had her any other way. Beneath that tough exterior was a woman who found her greatest joy in the simple things. Since her retirement from ULA she enjoyed being at home, working in the yard, and spending time with her close loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donnie Jones; parents: Rayburn and Billie Damron; nephew, Nick Damron.

She is survived by her sons, Neal (Les) Sharp and Adam (Bobby) Zwilling; sisters, Donna (Rickey) George and Tammy (Ralph) Clark; best friend, Charlotte Lake and several nieces and nephews.

At Candy's request, there will be a graveside service on Friday at 2pm at Stateline Cemetery. There will not be a visitation.
