Brenda Gray

Brenda Gray, 74, of Taft, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on Sunday while surrounded by her loving family.

Brenda loved her family deeply and especially cherished being a grandmother, a role she joyfully held for the past 26 years. She was a devoted caregiver, lovingly caring for her siblings who preceded her in death and faithfully taking care of her father. As a mother, Brenda was steadfast and selfless, always present and willing to do whatever her children needed.

She was a giving and compassionate person who was always concerned about others. Known for her cheerful spirit and great sense of humor, Brenda enjoyed making those around her laugh and bringing joy to others.

Brenda was a faithful follower of Christ and dearly loved the First Baptist Church of Hazel Green where she was a devoted member for nearly 50 years.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Michael John Masterski; her daughter-in-law, Kristin Masterski; her parents, Ernest and Doris Fitch; her brothers, Jerry Fitch, Butch Fitch, Bobby Fitch, and Ronald Fitch; and her sisters, Betty Greenhaw, Sandra Smartt, and Carolyn Metcalf.

She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Arthur Gray; her daughter and son-in-law, Bobbie and Spencer Hudson; her son, Charlie Masterski; her step-children: Arthur F. Gray II, Jeanette Marie Gray, James Albert Gray, Crystal Lynn Schmidt; her grandchildren, Jacob Hudson, Luke Masterski, and Seth Masterski; her step-grandchildren: Simone Schmidt, Anna Schmidt, Preston Jr, Joseph Gray, Chloe Gray, Hendrix Gray, Marley Gray, Elijah Gray, Aaliyah Gray and her brothers, Donald Fitch and Ricky Fitch.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service at 1:30 p.m. at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be officiated by Pastor Bobby Eads, Pastor Brad Williams, and Pastor Josh Duncan. Burial will follow in Prospect Cemetery in Fayetteville, Tennessee.
