Brenda Lee Bates

Brenda Bates of Ardmore, Alabama passed away on Thursday. She was 69. Brenda was a kind, loving and caring person and was a Christian who loved the Lord.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mark Bates. her parents, Milton & Margie Yarbrough. by her husband, Johnny MItchell; her step-son, Mark Daniel Bates Jr.

Surviving family members include her son , Johnny Bo (Megan) Mitchell; her daughter, April Bryant; her son, Joshua Daniel (Kelly) Bates; her son, Robert Jason (Darshell) Bates; her grandson: Nathan Mitchell; her granddaughter, Miranda Bates; her grandsons, Timothy Daniel and Ethan Lyn Bates; her granddaughter, Amethyst Nicole Bates; her brother, Kenneth Yarbrough. her great grandchildren, Scotty Bates and Scarlett Bates. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and bonus babies.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 12:30pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. The family will begin receiving friends at 11:00am. Burial will follow the service and will be in Gatlin Cemetery in Ardmore.

Pallbearers will be Bryan Ricketts, Cory Ricketts, Dustin Ricketts, Kenneth Yarbrough, Nathan Tielking, Adam Tripp, and Dustin Tripp.
