Brad Hicks

Brad Hicks of Hazel Green, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2026. He was 58.

He was a machinist and worked for AGI and loved his job there for almost 25 years. He also loved his family, especially his nieces and nephews.

Brad enjoyed grilling and was always cooking for anyone who wanted to eat. He loved pets, especially his dog, Odie, and most recently, Ellie Mae.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam & Jackie Hicks.

Surviving family members include his brother and sister-in-law, Brook & Anita Hicks; his nephews, Jessie (Hannah) Hicks and Casey Hicks; his nieces, Ashley Simpson and Samantha Hicks. He is also survived by his great-niece, Ryelee, and his great-nephews, Logan, Rhylind, and Jaxon.

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 30, 2026 beginning at 1pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:30pm at the funeral home with Pastor Lon Ostrzycki officiating. Burial will follow the service and will be in Charity Cemetery.
