Bonnie Waters Walker Jones, 84, of Hazel Green, Alabama. Passed away Saturday, July 4, 2026, at home. Mrs. Jones was an avid Alabama fan who never met a stranger. She retired from Teledyne Brown after working there for 15+ years. She was a member of Grace Pointe Baptist Church before becoming a member at Bethlehem Baptist Church. She loved seeing babies and whenever she would see them she would sing her favorite song "Jesus Loves Me". She loved playing card and board games with her twin sister Betty, her close friend Evelyn, James, Mary, and Violet. Her favorites being UNO, Skipbo, Tridominoes, and Road to Mexico. She enjoyed going to New Sharon Senior Center to go play bingo. She also would attend Tuesday lunch with the Bethlehem Baptist Church senior group. She enjoyed spending as much time as she could with her family especially children and grandchildren.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Muriel Waters; her first husband, Hardy Lee Walker Jr.; her second husband, Wilburn Harvey Jones Jr.; two sons, Hardy Lee Walker III and Jeffrey Glen Stanley; her great-grandson, Gunner Oakley Stanley; her three brothers, Winford "Chief" Waters, Grady Waters, and Clinton Waters; and one sister Vondie Johnson.

Survivors include her two daughters, Tina Coward (Randy) and Amy Pitts (Bill), one son, Rickie Jones (Pam); five grandsons, Robert Stanley (Taylor), Bryan Stanley (Lexie), Wesley Walker, Maxon Bromley, and Jimmy Bromley; four granddaughters Haylee Walker, Carlie Walker, Nichelle Sharer (Robert), Danielle Collum (Travis); Ten great-grandchildren, Lorelie Stanley, Oakley Stanley, Whitley Stanley, Zoey Walker, Raya Walker, Madison Sharer, Brinley Sharer, Majan Bromley, Cade Bromley, Amberleigh Bromley, Devon Bromley (Brenna), and Lynleigh Bromley; one sister, Betty Bailey; adopted extended family James and Mary Crowley, and Violet Andrews who all cared for Bonnie and absolutely adored her; she also had a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 9, 2026 at Bethlehem Baptist Church beginning at 9:30AM and continuing until the service begins at 11:00AM. Pastor Lon Ostrzycki and Pastor Bobby Gordon will be officiating. A graveside committal service will follow at Huntsville Memory Gardens.

The family has requested that if possible everyone wear Alabama attire.
